About Us
Dr. Doris Woodruff graduated from Baylor School of Dental Hygiene and practiced as a licensed Dental Hygienist as well as taught Dental Hygiene at Baylor College of Dentistry for 10 years. Having a desire to do more for the patient personally, she later attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She is an experienced professional who has practiced Dentistry with strong emphasis on Preventive Family Care. She is a member of Denton County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association and regularly attends many continuing education courses to keep up with the rapidly changing materials and techniques that enable her to provide quality care.
She is married with one child and enjoys providing dental care to patients of all ages. Painting and music are favorite pastimes. She describes dentistry as an extension of her artistic talents as well as an opportunity to help “make someone smile” a bit more. Nothing is more satisfying than completing treatment for patients that make them SMILE, that is comfortable for them, and most important educates and prevents future problems.
